Photography At MAN

Sat Feb 22, 2003 12:36 am

Ey-oop you Northerners.

Can you tell a visiting Jocko if the usual photo-spots at MAN (ie south of the 24L runway on the National Trust land) and at the aviation Viewing Park are still open to the public?

Mine's a pint of Boddington's

Cheers

Big thumbs up  Big thumbs up

The viewing park is still open. I went there yesterday, and I think it is the best airport in the UK for photographers. You can get so close to the aircraft. It is brilliant.

I'm sure someone from airliners.net will be at MAN on the 10th of October to take a picture of you on your DC-10.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

The southside bit next to the new runway was closed last weekend wasn't it after the terrorist threat thing? Is it open now?

I'd really like a day at MAN in the week but would hate to use a day off work and find its closed!
