Japanese Science Museum

Sat Mar 01, 2003 8:30 am

I've been approached by a guy from the Japanese Science Museum who would like to use my pic of an An-225 for a CD-ROM on aviation history which is to be distributed on a 'not-for-profit' basis.

Even if this CD-ROM is to be given out as a promotional item or at cost price, I feel that they should at least offer me a token payment.

I've never been faced with a request by a commercial or public institution before, and as its for a CD-ROM for an organisation I nothing about, I have no idea on the best way forward - for example I don't know how many CD-ROM's they are planning on. As its a museum that probably sells items anyway, I was planning on saying that they'll have to come back to me if they want to use it for other purposes, such as a postcard or in a book.

I obviously need to ask more questions of the Museum, but if anyone has any ideas as well, I'll be glad to hear from you.
