Question About Photocleaner Prog

Tue Apr 01, 2003 3:14 pm

There is a program called Photocleaner and I was wondering if there are photogs here that are using it along with either PSP or PS to prep your images before uploading them here on Anet.

http://www.photocleaner.com

It seems to do a good job at saving some of my images, Id be intrested in hearing from anyone using this prog.

Never heard of it Randy. I use Fred Miranda's actions on some photos. Is the 30 day trial offer full functionality?

Well, despite what it claims, there is no such thing as a "one-click fix" plugin or action. There are some great PS plugins out there though, but you still need to play around with them in order to achieve a desired output.

Here are a few that I recommend:

PowerRetouche - These, IMO, are the best plugins for PS, period.

iCorrect Pro - Another plugin claiming to be able to auto-fix a photo, but once you learn the manual adjustments, it works quite well.

AutoFX Autoeye - Same as above

Neat Image - Great for removing noise and smoothing digital photos.

The Fred Miranda actions are great as well...I have only tried a few, but digital Velvia is a fun one to play with.
