Scanning Slides, Need To Unframe Them?

Sat Apr 26, 2003 2:57 am

Hi!

Today i have seen a Canon 660 U scanner, that features slide scanning, my doubt is if you have to unframe the slide in order to get it scanned.

Thank You!

not sure what that particular scanner requires, but on mine it has an adapter both for slides (mounted) and negatives....if i have the slides done "process only" they end up on long rolls like negatives, and i can scan them in the negative adapter....but i don't have to take the mounted ones out in order to scan them, as should be the case with your scanner...

good luck,
