I Love The Contrast

Fri May 16, 2003 3:47 am

I just love the BOLD colors in this image, but what I love the most is the contrast between the probable 60 year old home/farm in the background and this almost new 737-700.

Totally agree, I just love the colours in this photo.

Also, notice the reflections on the engines!

Well done Derek!

Firstly, may I just say a big thank you for your kind words which are very much appreciated.

As you know, taking a good shot requires a good interesting backdrop and personally I think Luton is one of the best in England with its rolling hills/countryside which, I feel, adds so much more interest. Like many of you have said the English countryside at this time of year adds wonderful colours to the picture.

Bradford City here so extremely modest and most of the time embarrassed.

Just wanted to add my compliments Derek since I have the time these days.

Cheers

Too bad if you have to get on your Beamer for a 100 minutes ride to see something interesting, Derek. I bet you would love to have a REAL airport nearby. Or is there another reason you go down to London so frequently? As far as I know does Sue still live north of you....

Derek, I'm still tracking your superb shots...

But the ."...beautiful English countryside..." comment on the BY B737 ...what?  Confused

Your (and our) countryside ('oop north) has been destroyed by that alien yellow rape seed flower!  Pissed

Gerry

I have to agree about the "rape seed" invasion of the English countryside over the last few years but it does add that little bit of interest to my pictures  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

The yellow fields will soon be gone for another year and perhaps we can look forward to fields full of nice red poppies in the not to distant future which I think we would both enjoy more.

All the best

Derek
