How many screeners are screening at any one time?
How long will each screener spend screening?
How many of the photographers ahead of you in the queue will add more photos whilst you are waiting?
How many of our pictures will be immediate added, and how many will need three screeners approval?
How long is a piece of string?

These are life's mysteries. The day you can answer them all you will be a very well informed person. Until then, we all wait, or bribe a screener to offer us fast processing!

Well in the last 7 days, the screeners viewed 13854 images - even if we assume that each pic got viewed 3 times (which isn't the case, as some get rejected or accepted after only 1 or 2 views) that's still some 4600 shots run through the system last week - allowing for immediate rejects, accepts, lets call it an even 5000 in the last week.

Cheers,

Colin

The answer to screening time questions is this...

Upload.
Drink a beer.
Drink another one.
Forget about the upload until you get an email.
Drink another beer.
Enjoy yourself and don't sweat the small stuff.
Drink another beer.

Follow this mantra and life will be good.  Smile

I think it depends on many factors. This morning I had none left in the queue. I uploaded two. Then it said I had 2700 before me. In the time it takes an Atlas 747 to get from Luxembourg to Huntsville they were both screened!! (1 accept, 1 reject) I was shocked....

I can recall last year, in early september, I had none in the queue and I put a few in, and it took 10 days.

People give the screeners a break o.k. They have a life and hobby to do as much as we do. Their extra jobs to screen all of ours photos in the 10s of thousands is already pain staking non to mention consistantly staring at the screen with the given number of hours of the week they have to do for airliners.net.

So you all as photographers and uploaders give these guys a break, let them do their job and not harass them.

Best Regards,

Jay
