Thanks Matt. You are really good at making 1000th post!!
I just woke up and saw email@example.com email about acceptance of the A340-600 photo which makes 1000th and log on the forum and here is the congratulation post, thanks for being very thoughtful and caring! This worth enough to treat you a mean and drink next time in NY!!
Thanks to the screeners passed that photo too!
I also like to thank everyone here for the clickings and comments. It have took me 2 years slowly bit by bit to get to 1000th, at first 200-300 photos I scan only prints (direct from prints), as haven't got a film scanner for slides. Later after some advice from Jason Milligan and others, I bougha a HP
S20, which works fine still now. The last 300 photos or so mostly would be digital after purchased the Delightful 100 and never let me down, I truly enjoyed those airplane took off turning shots, from NY, London and now Sydney (I found one spot to do that as well, showed in the latest photo of CathayA340-600). Few guys here know how mad I love those! Digital certainly create more possibilities that I can only dare to dream and care about before. Just love shooting plane in actions more than anything! Although I also continue enjoy shooting slides!
In the middle of last year, I have problem of scanning slides and the quality did not quite meet the airliners.net standard, I have to thank Gary Watt who patiently help me in doing USM
and others in photoshop!
The end statement, I have been able to benefit and stipulate (copy?) from the fine photo collection of a.net, and the helpful user advice, without this site, aviation photography would be less creative, less fun (I met most people through this sites contact). What a wonderful website to make everyone proud and improve
