Quite often I am directly below the flightpath of Concorde as it heads off to New York. On a sunny day if you are lucky you can see it as it speeds over head, the shape clearly visible and the sound so raw, even at that altitude..
My dad saw it yesterday in the clear skies, and we saw it again today, its one of those events where everybody leaves the house and walks into the street to see, it was so clear, you could see the blue and red on the tail it was that clear.. quite incredible.
I kicked myself for not having a camera handy, unfortunetely rain is on its way so it was a clear day with some scattered cloud. It was so quick it was gone before I would have had a chance to get my camera...
I'm starting to think this was maybe my last chance to get a picture of Concorde, I used to see it quite regularly over the skies of my school, but I haven't seen it much since the past week..
The weather forecast looks good, does anyone know if Concorde follows any specific flightpath and if there is anyway to find out?
