Photography At CHS & AGS

Wed Jun 04, 2003 3:21 am

Anybody have info on spotting & photography at these 2 airports, charleston & augusta? I know they're fairly small cities but CHS does seem busier than my airport (HSV) as they have lots of delta flights md-80 & 757. How is security - hassles? Any good spotting areas?

I may be visiting there in the next week or two.......

I can only speak for AGS. It a nice airport. I was there spotting bizjets for the 02' Masters. There is a road on the back side of the airport with a bunch of places to pull off the side of the road and park. 300mm lens or better for departures. Don't know if things have changed since then.
