How Many Shots Do The Screeners View Per Session?

Tue Jun 17, 2003 11:27 pm

One of the reasons I chose not to apply for the recent screener posts, although roughly fitting the demographic, is that I find that when using photoshop to clean up I find I cannot do more that 15 without my eyes losing acuity staring at the monitor, and my perception its objectivity.

How do the screeners deal with this and do they set themselves limits in time or numbers of shots per session?

I think they can choose from 10 to 200. These threads should help you -

Between 10 and 400 at a go, mind you just who is gong to sit and go through 400 in one go! When you have finished the batch go on to the next one.

What i tend to do is screen perhaps 100 at one go , then go and do something else for 20 or 30 mins.... then get into another 100 or so... its difficult to so per session as whenever i have free time ill just get busy on the queue its very easy to loose track of time  Smile

To be honest i could carry on all night as i really enjoy looking at the superb quality coming through in the queue ..  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

cheers all

Blimey two new Screeners outed, more hate mail for you Tony  Wink/being sarcastic

I usually do batches of 50 and on a good day around 300-400 images or so. Alan your right after quite a few it does start to effect your eyes, but you can still tell whats good and whats not good. Anything in between we usually second opinion for a fresh pair of eyes to look at.

cheers
