Camera Repairing Shops

Wed Jun 18, 2003 2:54 am

My dad said the other day he has a spare camera with 2 lens (interchangeable), and it works reasonably well, but the problem is that it keeps letting in light somewhere, and it needs "checking up on."
Are there any places in Manchester or Stockport area that do these kind of camera repair things, for a reasonable price, and if so how could i contact them.
All im using right now is a 80 zoom, and its not the best camera in the world for getting the "right" shots.
Before i go, a daft question, but when taking pics with a interchangeable lens, can you see what it looks like before the films developed, eg is what you see through the image finder, what shows up in the picture.

Thank You

Don't know of any places in Manchester but theres a repair centre in Stoke called Lehmanns who I've used and are very good. They are an authorised repair centre for Canon, Nikon and a few others.

Using an SLR, yes what you see through the view finder is exactly what the picture takes.
