Another "Same Plane, Same Place"

Fri Sep 12, 2003 5:29 pm

Noticed Andy Martin's fantastic photo of the awsome concorde leaving JFK, September 7th. However, (not that its a problem) I noticed an almost identical photo today. Did Andy know that "Art Brett" was almost standing next to him?

Still, a great photo all the same!

Did Andy know that "Art Brett" was almost standing next to him?

Seeing as Art had just driven me to the airport, even though I couldn't see him at the time because I was concentrating on the photo, I htink it was reasonable for me to assume he was somewhere close by and probably taking pretty much the same pictures as I was!!! Big grin

Now, if Daniel is who I think he may be from memory equipment is

Me,

Canon D30 + Sigma 100-300mm f4

Daniel

Canon 10D + Canon 75-300mm

Again I know no conclusions can be made from these but just to add my bit to this thread

Sure thing. Me and Aaron Mandolesi have been spotting together lately, so we have some similar photos.

So... here we go. It's going to be a plugfest  Big thumbs up

Money does not bring you happiness. But it's better to cry in your own private limo than on a cold bus stop.

First I'd like to say when I uploaded my shot of the Concorde I hadn't seen Andy's shot. Had I, I would have picked another to upload. But I didn't, and I'm happy they took them both. Why? Because we like to get together and go shooting with friends and, if they didn't take such shots, I can just see everyone trying to avoid everyone else and that wouldn't be any fun. No problem, there's always a difference in the photos ... Andy got the tail beacon and I didn't. Damn.
