Is it me, my computerscreen, my glasses, or is it Airbus??
It seems the inboard (number 2 and 3) engines are in a different angle under the wing then the outboard (1 and 4) engines.

Or is it me......

I think its because the shot isn't a full head on but that the plane looks as if its slightly turning, if you look at the back landing gears that should be a clear indication...

I think it's Airbus - other shots of this type show a droop to the inboard engine - more obvious in some shots than others.

It's not your eyes! The engine configuration looks to be the same as the 346. The inboard engines point slightly downwards (and inwards I think). There are some good shots of 346s in the db which clearly show this - sorry, I can't be assed to find one for you right now!  Smile

It's because the engines should be correctly aligned on the loaded wing, in flight.

Ahhhh those French people! First they made the rear cabin floor of the Airbus slope upward and now the engine downward......they must have been drinking some of that good French wine (or German beer???) when they laid out the drawings for this machine!  Laugh out loud  Laugh out loud
