Digital Cameras?

Mon Oct 06, 2003 11:07 am

Hey guys, I'm looking at some digital cameras right now since I will be traveling a lot and seeing many airplanes in the near future. I'm just wondering, is there a certain kind of digital camera that all of you like to use? Every time I try to upload a picture on Airliners.net, it always gives me a rejection message. Any recommendations will be good! Thanks

BF---Search through these forums for advice. There are many digitals which can give you acceptable photos, but remember that you will still have to do some post processing etc...

How much do you want to spend? Do you have a pre-existing camera system? Nikon/Canon/Minolta/etc????

Take a look through here and over at sites like Dpreview.com before you go out and buy something.

I ended up getting that digital camera. Does anyone know if that camera will be good enough for airliners.net? Will it be good enough for taking pictures of aircraft? Thanks!

You should get nice pictures of planes close up on the ground. The 2x optical zoom will be a limiting factor to you.
