A Random Thought

Thu Oct 09, 2003 12:18 am

I was just going through some pictures I took this morning, and came across one where the whole plane is pin-sharp, but I just can't seem to get the registration to look sharp.

My random thought of the day was this. What if the marketing director for an airline was a little bit sadistic against photographers? He tells his people, "Paint the plane blurry. No sharp edges, even the registration.", thinking that we spotters would soon be tearing our hair out trying to get a sharp picture, and wondering if our eyes are going bad.

Charles,
You have too much time on your hands, or too much beer in them...!

Actually its part of the new anti-terror aircraft avoidance system. There's a field emitted surrounding the plane that causes it to blur which makes it difficult for a terrorist to lock in a laser sight on it and throws off approaching missles or RPGs.  Nuts  Nuts
