May I Ask For Some Editing Advice Please?

Tue Oct 14, 2003 8:13 am

Hi all:

I have been scanning the slides of my trip to Australia the last few days and encounter a common problem: about half of my shots and all my aviation related shots are soft or show haze/mist which is not visible on the original slides. If it were the case on all slides I'd say it's my scanner (EPSON flatbed with slide adaptor) but some pictures come out fine. I have experimented with increasing/decreasing the gamma settings but the effects are hardly visible.

So here are some examples to show you what I mean:
http://de.geocities.com/crispinid/anetavfotogrforumadvice/ If the link doesn't work I have exceeded the maximum hits per hour, which might occur because I use the same site for the pictures of my trip report. Please just try a few minutes later if necessary.

Btw, all those shots are Fuji Velvia 100F.

Thanks in advance,
Cris

For some reason you don't get the "hits exceeded" page if you go to: http://de.geocities.com/crispinid/ and then click on the "anetavfotogrforumadvice" folder. From there you can click on the images. Sorry for the inconvenience, and again, any help is highly appreciated.

Ok, lesson learned: do not ask anything unless you have something in the rejection line.
