FlyMex Does Copyright Violation Again!

Wed Oct 15, 2003 1:56 pm

Hi every one.

Its been time since I detected that FlyMex took my picture of this AeroMexico 767-200 XA-JBC for using it in the cover of their new game Mexico Centro Sur 2004

The link to their page is http://www.flymex.com.mx/indexesp.htm
I detected this time ago but I was just waiting for them to start selling the product.

If you remembered they did this with their Mexico Airports 2 and they took Mr Gary Watt picture

Can any one help me out and give any recommendations on what shall I do?

In advance Thanks

Hi Juan Carlos

I think I sent you a mail a few months ago when you asked me about the violation.

Maybe others will want to comment on what they would do.

This company continually uses peoples images without permission. While I was satisified with the outcome, I do not think that they think they are doing any wrong.

Let us know how you get on.

Regards

Gary:

Hi, and thanks, I remember your e-mail, I just want to know what shall I do? Shall I send an e-mail? Or what?

What did they compensate you with?

Please let me know

¡Qué cab*ones!

Wish I could I help you, but I have no idea what you should do (specially since apparently it's not the first time they do this).

Very nice picture, though.

Hi JC

Yes, send them a mail detailing what I said.
Use the form on their website and not a mail direct as this did not seem to work. Mailing through the webpage worked quickly.

Compensation..........ahh, it's a secret  Wink/being sarcastic

Cheers
