"Reconditioned Cameras"

Fri Oct 31, 2003 2:45 am

As we all know, there are "reconditioned" cameras out there that can be had for significant savings over their usual price. Have any of you bought one and if so, are you happy with the experience?

I have not purchased a reconditioned camera, but have purchased other items that were "factory refurbished." I have been happy with those things and did save some money.

I would ONLY buy one of these from a reputable dealer and have a warranty in hand. Most will offer the original factory warranty or something similar.

As with everything...buyer beware. What you save in purchase cost may cost you in headaches down the line if you are not careful.
