Curious About These Two

Mon Nov 17, 2003 10:44 am

I have two pics that are taken from the same angle, and both are 737.

The Delta has almost double the hits of the other one. Why? No complaints here; I like them both. But since they are very similar I wonder why viewers are much more attracted to one over the other? IMO, the southwest one has an edge because with the tree background you can see the exhaust blur coming out of the engines, but the other one you just see a dirty trail. Could it be that the Delta 737-200 is a more rare plane than a southwest 737?

It is probably a combination of the Delta jet being a 732 and boring Southwest (so many of the "same"). The Delta shot is nice because it goes well with the sky and the gear is retracting.

yup, ryan's right. the 732 NC is without a doubt more attractive than southwest. anyday. i can certaintly vouch for an additional hit  Smile/happy/getting dizzy.

interesting observation..

I wish I could go somewhere where I could shoot something other than southwest all the time but I'm stuck for a while.  Sad

I think they are pretty easy to shoot. Must be the colors or something...
