Wow: Konstantin Is Seeing Places!

Mon Dec 22, 2003 11:24 pm

I was just amazed to find out what airports Konstantin has been to in the last two weeks: Check
http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?photographersearch=Konstantin%20von%20Wedelstaedt

Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Mojave, Vicorville, Denver,... in less than two weeks. Sometimes there is not a single day between some airports.

Can we expect a veeeeery long Trip Report in the near future?

Setjet,

It is easy to answer the Q

see here

http://www.airliners.net/discussions/aviation_photography/read.main/109782

I also posted a photo that day I took with LAX boys and Konstantin!

If you do a West Coast it is possible to do both VCV and MHV plus LAX/LAS in one day!

Thanks Sam!

I am still puzzled: I tried to fly with a Cessna 172 from Phoenix to Victorville and possibly Mohave and thought this would be the only way to get close enough to these fields. In the end I only got to Las Vegas, Kingman, Tucson and Marana from air and ground.

Too bad the pictures aren't worth showing...

Well, Sam is my idol, so I try to go on such trips too...  Big grin
This has certainly been a great, fun and event-filled trip for me, meeting many fellow a.net photogs.
And enough pix to make it through the long dark winter here.

Happy Holidays,
Konstantin

I must agree, everyone had a great time that day, thanks for the photo.

Konstantin,

Glad you had a great trip. It was nice meeting and shooting with you at LAX and LAS hope you enjoyed the Palms Buffet in Vegas.

Let me know when you plan to visit LA again and we will set-up dinner and a slide show with the rest of the LA gang.

Hey Mike, the dinner was great, but to be honest, Chris and I found an even better buffet at the Aladdin's the other night  Big grin but it was also a bit more pricey...
I'll be back in LA one day!

Indeed the Aladdin is almost twice as much. When you look for value-for-money, the Palm's is of course excellent.
Maybe one day we can have a Sam vs Joe eating contest at either one  Big grin

I try my best, Sam, but it probably won't help... 2004 will be the year when you take my place in the Top 5 (which I just "took" from Peter)

Keep wondering, V-man...  Big grin

For all the others:
I uploaded the shots the days before xmas about 10-20 per day, and since I forgot to bribe the screeners, I was back to zero in the upload queue, so it took a while until they were screened. You know the game.
