Doing the usual Christmas rounds of the various familial groups this year, I met a relative of my wife's who is looking to sell off her deceased husbands camera equipment. I happened to be brandishing my trusty D30 and they assumed that I might be able to help!
I offered to look into what the equipment might be worth as she's recently been taken for a ride with some silverware and rare coins!
The equipment in question comprises:-
Nikon F3 Manual SLR in Leather case
Nikkor 50mm f1.4 lens (mounted on camera)
Nikkor 35-105mm f3.5-4.5 lens (In lens Case)
Nikon Lens Hood HS-9 (Boxed)
Nikon Motor Drive MD-4 (Boxed)
Nikon Speedlight SB-12 (un-boxed)
Nikon Speedlight SB-16 (Boxed)
Bilora Monopod with built in Cable release
Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera Model 2 (In Leather Case)
Olympus XA 35mm compact with A16 electronic flash add-on (in hard-case)
I doubt very much any of you guys would be interested in this stuff (of course if you are please contact me in the usual way!) but was wondering if anyone might know what this lot might be worth (all mint condition as far as I could tell) or even where in the UK I might be able to take it for valuation? For reference, I've contacted Grays of Westminster about the Nikon stuff already.
