A.net Rip Off Used In Daily Newspaper

Wed Mar 10, 2004 12:26 am

Its unbelievable. Below you can see a scan of the travel and tourism pages of Austrias second biggest newspaper.

They even wrote airliners.net as Copyright. We have already contacted the photographer about this rip off and he told us he wasnt asked.

No problem,
start by calling the Photo Desk at that newspaper. Explain what's wrong. They might tell you that they got the photo from somebody else (like a tourism company). Tell them you want the number of that place.

Mike Primamore's a good guy too - I hope he makes some serious mileage out of this!

Well thanks to all here .

Great detective work!

Any other advice how to approach this is much appreciated. My first time being "violated", how flattering!

Mark has a good idea but what newspaper is it?! My German is not very good at all  Smile

As Mark says, just contact the picture desk at the newspaper, explain the situation and they should pay-up - you can usually push them to pay double the rate for the copyright violation.

Austrias second biggest newspaper.

What is the newspaper Peter?
Has it got any connection with the Austrian FORMAT magazine?
