The Screening Queue

Wed Mar 10, 2004 11:35 pm

Hi all

Some of you may have noticed the screening queue is now at it's lowest for some time. Even today, some images screened by me were direct added within a space of a few minutes Embarrassment)

I will take the opportunity to thank all the screeners for getting stuck into the queue in between their day jobs and time spent with the family. The new screeners are doing very well also.

Now you all need to start moaning about something else.......as it won't be the queue  Wink/being sarcastic

Cheers

Well, as much as I could be moaning sometimes, when I see the upload queue in the present state, I can only applause and thank the screeners  Big thumbs up

But be careful, Elbonians are getting their hands on DSLR in the next days. That only could send the upload queue back to 6,000  Wink/being sarcastic (just kidding).

Ok, I'll stop the sucking up, now is time to upload  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

This must be the shortest queue I have ever seen here - currently 205 pictures  Wow! Once again, great work by the screeners.
Now, can you keep it at 200?  Big grin

Great work screeners, I uploaded several shots on Monday evening, and the first screens for some were less than 24 hours later, with the last few bieng added and rejecting about 27 hours later!

I'd also like to thank them for accepting enough to nearly double my a.net picture total!! Big grin . 31 pictures to 55!

I noticed it too...
and I really appreciate that great work. I upped 2 pics at around 1pm and at 3pm they were screened and added.
I was really like ... WOW

Few weeks ago I would have waited a week or so.
Again great work...

And now a shameless self-plug of those 2 photos :P

Thank you folks,
I think it´s good idea to keep the queue pretty short. That keeps the stress level down on the screeners and you get a quality job done. It is really fun to see all the quality pictures flowing through the queue nowadays. Some quality pictures from China have been especially interesting to view.

You can't add 29 pictures and get them all rejected as the first are already rejected when you still have to upload the other 26 Big grin
