Mon Mar 15, 2004 1:40 am

Came across these shots by Bob Garrard, and they simply blew me away.

I love these older photographs. Even when I see pictures from the early '80s, it's incredible how your memory cheats you. My memories aren't that different from what you see today, but the pictures show a different scene. Totally different vibe when it comes to types and colours. Look at the DC-8 and 707's in the DC-6 picture..amazing.
It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, and I am not a big man.

Hi all

Yes, nice stuff.

I had the pleasure of screening quite a few of them over the last week and also a few mails with Bob. Nice guy and I think he has many more to come.

Cheers

These are the shots I enjoy seeing the most, classic stuff long gone! Sometimes you can see all kinds of interesting stuff in those old shots

Check out the background on the Rich DC6: An Airlift DC8 and two 707s in the colors of Aerotal and Fast Air .. nice!

nice pictures, guys

Joge you dont sound all that excited really...  Big grin

if I want to see old stuff all I have to do is go to the 9R Eldorado spot where that 707 was shot, and pretend all those whitish aircraft that come in are Ecuatoriana 707s in the rainbow schemes
