My Rejected DEN Photo...

Thu Mar 18, 2004 3:34 pm

Hey Denver guys, thought I would share this one with you. Taken from my office up there and I just thought it was a very unique photo so I tried and failed on the upload. I still think it was pretty neat just not for this site I suppose. Check it out if you got a minute. Shows the terminal in a new way!

Tim,

What was the rejection reason?

badscan, badblurry. It actually didn't get the bad motiv. It is a bit soft now that I look back at it. It was really windy up there that night and pretty much everything I shot came out slightly blurry except my jetblue shot. I think that was one of the sharper ones. I just thought it was cool so I shared it, in the end the wind killed it for me.

I do have another photo in the queue that is a long night exposure shot of a plane coming into the gate. Its pretty sharp but it went from the "to be screened by Johan" queue to back to the screeners so we shall see what comes of that one. I thought it was neat too, hopefully it makes it. I need more practice at night though!

Those things look like the 'atmosphere processor' in the 'Aliens' film! Great picture, Tim.

I like it as well Tim. One thing is for sure, those things are not going anywhere, and it gets dark every night, give it another try when the wind isn't blowing so hard.
