Need Some Help With Quality

Sun Apr 04, 2004 9:34 pm

Hello,

I have an Olympus C-750 and have the quality on SHQ, but this still isn't enough - what do I need to do?

Any help appreciated

I am not sure what you mean. I, too, have the C-750 and shoot with SHQ, and I think it delivers fine quality.

Maybe you need to work more with post-processing, that is a very important part. I use Adobe Photoshop 7 to edit my photos.

I could give more specific advice if you could post some representative images. I have used a C750 exclusively for the past ten months. I like the 10x zoom but all of the images I have had accepted (and those I would consider submitting) are no more than half the zoom. The more you fill the frame the better. I originally used the auto setting but now use shutter priority. I also usually have to decrease the brightness in Photoshop. That really brings out the colors on Northwest airliners that come into Minneapolis. Even though a lot of my photos I don't consider Anet compatible, I am pleased to keep them in my collection. The make good prints. I plan to eventually go to a DSLR but I will keep a C750 in my flight bag. I have made over 7000 images with in since I bought it last June without a problem.

F4wso,

What setting do you have the Priority shooting on?
