Confused With Rejections

Mon May 03, 2004 11:51 pm

Hi all,

Bit confused with some of the rejections on the site I've had lately with some of my photos from LHR. Firstly when I look at the photos that I've had rejected, sometimes it's my photo with someone elses comments/details and vice versa so what's going on there I have no idea!

Firstly: BA Airbus A319:

Reason: "badscan", email said it was low quality, just can't see what part of the quality is low in this one. And plus it isn't a scan, it's a photo taken with a digital camera  Smile.

Secondly: Lufthansa Regional Jet 100LR:

Reason: "badscan", email also said it was low quality. Once again it isn't a scan...

Reason: "badscan", email also said it was low quality. Lol once again, it isn't a scan!!!

Sorry I am pretty new at uploading photos to Airliners.net so I'm still trying to find my way around things. I can take rejection, just I can't see how these are low quality?  Confused Bit confused with the rejection reasons too!!

2nd - Grainy and a bit blurred

3rd - Grainy and a bit blurred again

Mike this topic has been covered over and over , 1st of all how new are you to Airliners.net

"Badscan" as a rejection reason has been around for a while now and as a reason covered any image that was low quality , did you read the text that was with the reject reason , that does tell you where generally the image is flawed .

Having a look at the images you posted i agree with the "badscan" or as they now have been renamed "badquality" the images are ok but not AN standard just yet , they are soft with a bit more practice and perhaps some more work they will make it so dont loose faith youll get there.

regards Tony

The thumbnails look good, but when I go to the full-size picture, they're all pretty fuzzy.

Mike, nice pics.

the other problem is to get LHR shots accepted you do need to be totally assured of the quality - so many LHR shots are uploaded that screeners have to be very harsh, after all there are already plents of BA A319s at LHR in the db!

Thanks for the tips guys. Will try to make them a little better using the tips in the email and will reupload possibly. Thinking of buying a Canon 300D sometime soon so hopefully I won't be getting too many rejections because they're too grainy!  Big grin
