Cool Cool and more COOL!! There is still an HP
S20 scanner user on the a.net.
I still frequently use the HPS20 to scan my slides and negatives although most of my time is now with extracting files from my C750UZ digital camera.
I have had that problem before and I still get them time to time when I try and run it. There is a really easy solution to combat that problem.
Either close the HP
scanning program, open the lid of the scanner and then close it. (You will hear the scanner rev up) then open the HP
scanning program again and it should work.
You can close the program, unplug the scanner from the socket. (the three prong hole AC
60Hz yada yada, and then plug it back in). Then you open up the program again and it will detect the scanner.
I don't plan on ever going to DSLR no matter how tempting at any time soon. My airport lacks the frequent interest of heavy traffic to warrant such a huge investment. If it was like LAX
then I'd make DSLR a priority. For now I am still using my 24 year old Nikon SLR for conventional mediums.
People like JOe, Justin, Chris, Craig.. moved on.. How dissapointing
ROb still uses the old S20 version for the K64 scans.
