Question About Digital Prints.

Sun Jun 27, 2004 3:49 am

Hi all,

I'd like to have a few 5x7s done by a lab, I asked them at what DPI they print and they said 300. So am I correct assuming that if I take a 3072x2048 picture, I will have to crop and resize it to 2100x1500 for a 5x7 print at 300dpi?

No, leave it as it is ... excess resolution never does any harm in the printing process ... its more likely that you will lower the quality by resizing.
