Now How Did This Photo Not Get "bad People"?

Thu Jul 01, 2004 8:40 am

You can barely tell there's a plane in the pic! Perhaps the screeners are partial to blondes  Smile?

Because it is a publicity shot and they gave their consent to be photographed.

Pacallen

Did the screeners add that one or Johan?

I did add some yesterday because they were newsworthy.

Somehow with the environment of political correctness today i don't think we will ever see scenes like those in America. Lawyers & womens's groups would jump all over it.

Nice to see the more liberal attitudes in europe, though.

Hang on...

National named their fleet after women back in the '70s to promote business. That didn't blow over too well with the feminists.

I think the National DC10 names are great. Bloody spoilsports. The Flybe shot is interesting enough to be in. Hell, I'd already seen it - and clicked on it - without even thinking of 'badpeople'.  Smile

Is that really necessary? If you don't like people's actions on this board, there's better ways to articulate it than reverting to MTV-speak.

Royal just articulated what I'm sure many others feel.

...and I like those kind of "short" busses!
