Need Tips On 3 Photos

Mon Jul 26, 2004 4:44 pm

Hello everybody

My friend Fabio Laranjeira ask me to post these questions:
All the words belongs him (I just translated it from portuguese Big grin ).

I would like to know if this picture may be reject for bad angle or bad motiv and need some tips to take pics of "T" type tails, like F-100 and B727.
http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/big/ready/18072004_4.jpg

The angle in this picture is a little bit "out of standard", but its interesting how near the ground the wing is. May this pic be reject for bad motiv? Any comments?

One think I would like to know is if pics like this, showing people taking pics, people watching and so, are appreciated by other photographers and/or Airliners.net.
particularly in this picture, is the unusual gradient of climb and others photographers.

Any help or comment is VERY welcome!

Thanks

Matheus

1: definetely bad motive/soft ....

2: nice pic, but badcentered.

3: nice pic, but the wing which comes in from the left is annoying ... , also bad motive because of that.

1) Bad motive.

2) bad center, low in frame, also to sharp jaggies clearly visible and remove the name before upload.

3) bad motive.

A bit difficult for me to tell on the image quality due using a laptop right now, but ASSUMING that the quality is OK:

1. Likely to be rejected badmotiv - and too much empty space at right
2. Definite accept as far as I'm concerned (assuming the quality is OK)
3. Likely to be rejected baddistance

The copyright notice on 2 and 3 has to be removed. Finally, your friend should be prepared for some unjustified "fake" accustations on 2, because I'm prepared to bet that with an amazing pic like that some misinformed folks are bound to make such accusations.

Please remember that the above are just my opinions.

1 - is definitely bad motive, as there is really nothing special about this tail to warrant a photo of just the tail, plus the shot looks unbalanced.

2 - great shot, however, it has been oversharpened (trailing edge of the wing is quite jaggy) should be easy to fix

3 - a nice photo, but not A.net material - aircraft is too small a part of the the total image, foreground is too dominant and the aircraft itself is a bit out of focus. Looking at the smoke trail, I'd like to see the shot 1 or 2 seconds before this!

Cheers,

Colin

Thank you all for the attention!
He is just uploading the pic #2.
That low pass was just incredible! They got just 15feet of the ground and in the first pass he got ~270Kts. We are waiting for the EAB's next edition, because will be another pilot and I'm SURE they will try to get lower than this. Lol.
If someone say something against the authenticity of this pic, we know the crew and maybe they can say: ITS REAL  Wink/being sarcastic

The aircraft in the pic #1 is the only one which have the white tail with the "TAM" name in red instead the normal one ( Red tail and white "TAM").

Many thanks

Matheus,

We know it's real, we've seen this fly-by already:
