Dusk Shots

Tue Aug 03, 2004 6:51 am

I decided to try my hand at taking some shots at dusk this past weekend. With a little practice, I got to the point where the shots were reasonably crisp even at 1/20. I've been doing post-processing on them this afternoon and I can't decide how much to brighten them up. If I go too high, it doesn't look like a dusk shot. Too low, and the image of the aircraft is poor. Here's one that I did a few minutes ago:

What do you think? Too dark? Too light? Too anything else?

A tad (but really a tad) dark, otherwise... brilliant shot mate

Looks great. I don't think it's too dark. After all, it's a dusk shot. I think it needs a tiny bit more contrast.

Awesome shot John. I think it is perfect. I would submit it the way it is.

Funny, I tried exactly the same a couple of days ago with the same Kenya T7... that panning shot is in the queue right now, only difference is that I took it at rotation point and in AMS.

Kind regards,
