Well, what I will say will probably not answer your question, but I would like to voice my opinion here. The pictures you are referring to have already been rejected for low quality. When discussed in this forum, they were said to be way too dark.
Which appears to be still the case.
Plus, I see here two almost identical pictures of the same aircraft ploaded at the same time. Don't you think that with over 14,000 (14,000
) pictures in the queue the screeners have better to do than decide which is the best between two next to identical shots (and such a decision takes more time than screening two different shots of two different aircraft).
As for the banners, had the shots been A.net material to start with, I am sure the banner would have been his. Heck, I almost got a banner two weeks ago with a new aircraft in a new livery in AMS
. But that would have meant my editing the pic on my nast laptop with its nasty screen. And the shot would probably have been A.net material, but it would not have been up to my standards, so... did not do it. I saw the banner the next day, another photographer had nailed the aircraft elsewhere and had uploaded faster than me. Oh well, that's not the end of the world, is it ?
