Over Exposure?

Thu Aug 19, 2004 6:18 am

Hi all,

I have a problem, I have just bought a Canon EOS300V and the slides have all come back with brighter whites than a Dazultra doorstep challenge!

I have my camera in the "P" mode which is what I used to have set on a Minolta I had before.

The pictures do seem to be to bright, can anyone please advise me on what may be happening?

Or, a different setting on the camera.

My shots were all from taxiing aircraft at Frankfurt, so no great speeds of aircraft.

Thanks for any info.

Steve.

Perhaps the metering is biased towards an overexposure. I have no experience with the 300V meter myself, but try to underexpose by half a stop.

Cheers, I will try that, it just seems odd to me, the other camera was fine.

Cheers, Steve.
