Colin Work - Canon Salesman?

Tue Aug 24, 2004 12:37 am

Mr. Work very capably demonstrates the quality of the 500mm +2x convertor combo. The 737 is especially stunning!

I have the BBJ as my wallpaper for 1 day, and I don't get bored when looking at it!

Lots of amazing stuff by Colin, he's definitely one of the best photographers here!

Thanks guys! But sadly that lens was just a loaner, so if you could all write to Mr Canon saying I should be given one in return for promoting their products it would be most appreciated  Smile

Seriously, the 500mm f4 is an awesome lens - the quality is amazing even compared to my beloved 300mm f4. A lot of money, but you get what you pay for. I'm not going to be content til I manage to get one of my own!

Cheers,

Colin

Hi Colin,
that BBJ is really stunning with all the detail!

I am happily using my 70/200 2.8 now and intend to go for a 300/4 as well (even though I only intend to combine them with the 1.4x EF), ...well, maybe I really should give the 2x EF a try! Great photos like yours are always the best motivation  Smile

The 1D ii is still a loooooooong dream away though  Big grin

Cheers,
Tom

Consistently brilliant - nothing else can describe the stunning work Colin manages to produce time after time.

The above displayed 737 image is phenomenal.
