Upload Queue

Mon Aug 30, 2004 10:07 pm

Hi all,

The latest functions added to the "Photographer's corner" are:

-Photo Queue statistics (like the old page)
-Possibility to view the images, as well as all details of uploaded photos
-Possibility to delete your own photos from the queue

It is currently not possible to edit any information for photos in the queue.

Please delete images here when you make a mistake, instead of sending an e-mail to our busy screeners.

For those of you with accounts it's possible to try it out here:
http://www.airliners.net/myphotos/

Please report bugs.

Regards,
Henrik

Hello.

Sounds like a great feature. But, how does it work for me? I can log-on but it shows no pics for me. May it be caused because I use different e-mail adresses for the forum and the photos? How can those be changed?
Thnaks in Advance!

Bye, Georg.

Great work, thank you.

Is the ability to edit the comments or data for the photograph going to be added in the future?

Henrik,

Great work! Thank you.

Can we put a link on the UPLOAD page (or somewhere significant) so that we can directly go to LOG ON from somewhere on A.net? I have this bookmarked but i use different computers at different locations and I am sure others do too;hence the question. If you have already done this, please disregard

thanks again.

Hi Henrik

What about photographers without accounts?
I know a few who would want to know that.

It's getting better, thanks for your time and effort.

Next step: make the fields editable, sometimes we need to change something after finding out that it needs to be modified.

Great job guys, the new features are fantastic. I do have one additional suggestion though, one that I've been hoping to see for quite a while now... Is there any way you can show us photographers our accepted / rejected statistics? It would be SO cool to be able to track our "progress" as we get better at uploading. Plus, it would be a great training tool, and would be very motivating to upload better shots, and not upload junk to begin with.

Please consider adding this feature - I am sure it would be used by all!  Big thumbs up
I'd rather shoot BAD_MOTIVE

Please include a feature to remove photos from the database. That would be great!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Due to security reasons we will not add such a feature. This would mean that anyone getting hold of your password either by hacking, reading your mails, or you use it somewhere else, have bad network security etc. could delete all your photos.

Henrik

If you want to remove photos, just let any one of us database editors know, or submit a correction and mention it, and we'll get back to you so you can confirm your decision.

Hi, I've never done uploading before so I apologize for maybe stupid question...
I tried to upload some of my pictures. Two to be exact. About two days ago they were still in the queue waiting to be screened. I checked the rejection statistics and it says that my photos were neither rejected nor accepted. They just disappeared or so it seems...

What should I do?

Thanks,

I have a couple suggestions for the "photographers corner". How about adding link to the photo reupload page? Also, how about a photographer's "profile" page to add to the photographers corner. This would be similar to the profile in the forum where you could have photo albums and info about your location and even shooting equipment.

Maybe a link to the appeal page, that would be handy!
