I'm always spotting the contrails over my house but I only have a pair of 8x56 binoculars so I can't identify the airlines. I'm looking for a new camera and would like to take such kind of pictures. Do you think a sony F717 is ok ? Or maybe should I try the Canon 300D with a 70-300 lens ? (Ok I see that that picture has been taken with a Canon 10D 70-200 but I would like know what you guys think about that).

Thanks a lot.
