I recently had a few photos rejected for badcenter (and may yet have more in the queue rejected for the same reason).
What is the critera for an aircraft not being centered. I cropped my shots to center the fuselage of the aircraft in a pretty much side-on shot. In such a shot the horizontal stab sticks out relatively far past the end of the fuse.
In my own opinion the fuselage is probably the highlight of the picture, so that's how I cropped it. If one goes by the rule of nose tip to back of horizontal stab, then it would be not centered. For referance, here is a shot just rejected for that reason:
I've been cropping shots like this for a while and not had any real problems. Have the standrads on this changed?
