Strange Request

Thu Sep 16, 2004 6:30 pm

I received strange request today:

"Dear Sir,

I would like to know if it is possible to have this shot on Korean
B777 ID:662354. It's for my collection on 777.

If it's digital shot, can I have the original file(JPG) For private use
ONLY

Thanks in advance"

This would be like giving him my original negative. What he is thinking???

I got that too for a Kenyan 777. I never replied. Never give away the fullsize file unless youre getting paid to do so.
what seems to be the officer, problem?

I got exactly the same request from a guy in Canada (forgot his name, but could be the same guy). I told him I don't give original files away, but I could send him a print if he was willing to pay for it (expenses + tiny profit margin). Since it was for a private collection I figured a print would make him happy enough. Never heard from him since...

Yeah, that guy was from Canada. He should be happy with prints for his private collection. Unless he wants to publish them  Smile
