10D Battery Charger

Sun Sep 19, 2004 6:14 am

Have been noticing some strange behaviour from my batter charger.
It tends not to fully charge batteries in one go, usually it only loads for half an hour and then says the battery is fully charged. When I remove it however and restick it in the charger it begins to load for another half an hour or so....

It's not the batteries, because it does it on all 3 batteries I use.

Anyone had similar problems?

Tim,

I had the same problem a few months ago. I cleaned the contacts and it seemed to work fine after.

That was what i was going to tell Tim as well Simon  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
Clean the battery contacts also Tim, use some alcohol and a "ear stick" or what ever it is called in English.

I had also the same problem, so I put the batteries 2 times or so in the charger to get it full loaded!

Evening,

From what I understand the charger works on a timer, it does not know whether the battery is empty or fully charged, just how long the charger has been on for when a battery is in situ.

I might be wrong, please correct me politely if so.

Regards Simon.
