BAD People?

Thu Sep 23, 2004 3:31 am

I was curious if anyone, particularly screeners, could tell me why this was really rejected.

http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=IMG_2736_Contrail.jpg

The reason in the e-mail was bad people. I don't see the face of God, or anyone else, in the clouds, so I don't think that was it. I'm assuming an incorrect button was hit. I e-mailed the screeners but got no reply. So if anyone has suggestions, let me know. I was hoping to get my first contrail shot up here, but now I would just like to know why it was rejected.

Thanks,

Bill

Well Bill my best guess would be "badinfo", Its an A340 you can tell by the contrails....the A340 stays as 4 separate contrails, while a 747 forms two contrails quite fast behind the plane.

I kind of thought it was, but since I wasn't sure I figured I wouldn't guess and end up getting it rejected for Bad Info.

You can also tell by the wing sweep, the sweep on the A340 is much less than that of the 744
And all at once the crowd begins to sing: Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same

Thanks guys. I'll re-submit with the aircraft info and see what comes back.

The photo looks like if it's upside down, you can see more of the left side of the fuselage than you can of the right side.

Definately not a 345. I'd say LH 343, but thats just a guess.

I was thinking an LH A340-300 (If they have any.. hehe). AF don't have the grey underbelly.

I'd say it's the LH 340 to Portland. Can't think of any other 340 series 300 that would overfly Seattle -- Cathay has one into Vancouver from New York but it would not overfly SEA. Also, LH 340 flights to the West Coast (LAX, SFO) would not pass over SEA. Then it has to be the PDX flight, still 210 km out so starting or just about to start descent.
