Airbus At Gibraltar

Fri Oct 08, 2004 6:56 am

I have never been in Gibraltar but always wondered if it was possible to take aircraft in action from the rock. Normally you only get pictures covering the whole airport, but I must admit that Mr. Luis Rosa prooves that action photos is possible!! And what an action photo! Or should I say: a St. Maarten picture in reverse?

I do not want to speak for Luis, but he uses a Canon 100-400L IS USM as far as I know.

A stunning shot, no doubt!

Thanks, action shots are possible indeed but not from the top of the Rock, this place is lower than half the size of it, the "problem" is that you have this BA and a Monarch 757 movement under daylight, only, then they return again at night.

This photo was taken with a Canon 100-400 on a D60, at 320mm, with a little crop.
