Photography/Logging In Warsaw (WAW)

Thu Oct 14, 2004 6:10 pm

Hi,

I'm planning on taking advantage of Easyjet's cheap fares to Warsaw from London Luton. Does anyone have any information regarding opportunities for photography and logging at Okecie airport? Is there a terrace? Is it open in November?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Brian

There is a very good roof terrace on top of the international terminal.
According to the airport information office the terrace is open even in the winter.

Brian,

as Anders was mentioning the terrace is open.

You might also want to look at

http://www.epwaspotters.org/

The page is unfortunately in Polish, but going to

http://www.epwaspotters.org/lotnisko.html and then spotting you can find the map with teh spoting points around the airport, the description of the spots as well as public transportation map.

You can also find a schedule at

http://www.epwaspotters.org/rozklad.html

Hopefully it will updated for the winter schedule.

In case you need some help with translation or more info feel free to e-mail me at

Jarek and Anders thanks a lot.

I have now booked flights with Air Polonia from Stansted - only slightly more expensive than Easyjet at GBP53 return, including taxes.
