How Were TLS Airbus A380 Shots Obtained?

Wed Oct 20, 2004 7:39 pm

I have seen plenty of photos from the Airbus factory area (eg. the A380) at TLS. How were the photographers able to get these photos?

Ever since I started seeing A380 shots from TLS on A.net, I've always wondered how it was possible to be there and get the shots. Was there special authorization, or how did the photographers get permission to do that?
Please let me know.

Maybe from the airport perimeter fence with a telephoto zoom...

How about trying the little contact button next to the photographer's name? Works wonders!  Big thumbs up

I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

How do you think people get cockpit shots? Sure, some of them are probably visitors, but a lot of them are airline employees, including pilots. I'll bet these people work at the plant. Just because you take photos of airplanes doesn't mean you need to be unemployed or retired  Smile
