Bad Info Question

Wed Oct 27, 2004 3:15 am

Hello i need a little help i got my picture rejected for (unknown bell 206b) this is exactly as worded in the email.......i checked the FAA register here is the link http://162.58.35.241/acdatabase/NNumSQL.asp?NNumbertxt=121rh and also checked out some pictures of other 206b's on here and i think and hope this is the same helicopter. When i wanted to pick the 206b from the drop downs there is no choice for this....can someone please advise me on this as it is not yet on A.NET so would be my first pic on here and also the first of this reg.

TIA Nick

It was probably the location.....it should be "In Orlando" rather than "unknown", also it should be list as "untitled" rather than "unknown" . Try to provide the CN also.

You listed "Location" and "Airline" fields as "Unknown". That was your mistake.

You can clearly see the airline is "Elite Helicopters".

You have described the location in the remark. If it's at an airfield then list that airfield (using the dropdown menus preferably). If not, then list is as "In Orlando".

Furthermore (not reason for rejection)... if you looked up the aircraft on the FAA website, then please copy and paste the c/n into the airliners.net upload field. It saves us poor screeners from filling in all that stuff when we should be screening!

Nick,

Further to the amendments and corrections already given by others you could also supply the full type as Bell 206B Jet Ranger III (can be seen in the FAA register and on the helicopter).

If badinfo was the only reason for rejection, you can reupload the unchanged picture with all the correct info.

With almost 300 "Bell 206 Jet Ranger" photographs in the db, I would think it would make an ideal candidate for being standardised and added to the dropdown menus on the upload page?

I'm sure there are others also waiting to be done, and maybe these can be tackled now we have additional corrections editors?
