Badcolor Help.

Sun Nov 14, 2004 11:43 pm

Hey guys. I knew the colors looked a little funny, but i'm not exactly sure how to fix them. I think maybe to much in the yellow channel.

Let me know what you think.

Hi Logan,
First off, if you make your links clickable, you will have more people looking at them  Smile:

Yes, they are definitely very yellow. The planes are supposed to be white, but are definitely too yellow. Not only that, in my opinion they are extremely oversharpened. Look at the cheatlines...they are more zigzaged than straight lines! I would start from the original ones again, as they look like they have potential! If you want, you can send me the original, and I can rework one of them, see what I come up with! My email is sebastianvermehren(at)gmail(dot)com.

I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

At what time of the day were these taken? Could it be the sun? Take a look at this for example:

They were taken around sunset. So lighting is naturally yellow, but not quite as yellow as my pics.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Personally I think they are oversharpened and a bit overexposed but that can be fixed. I mean , my Botswana ATR looks pink  Laugh out loud

Rgds and good luck!

Logan,

To me it looks like a white balance issue. For a photo in sunlight you should be shooting for a color temperature in the neighborhood of 5200. Perhaps your WB was set for cloudy, resulting in something like 6000? If so, kick it down and the yellow cast should go away.
