I Hate To Ask, But Help Me With This Badcontrast..

Fri Nov 19, 2004 10:50 pm

I just had this picture rejected for badcontrast:

Does anyone know what is wrong with the picture. Does it need more contrast, or less? I'm kinda at a loss.

I believe this picture got rejected because the silhouette is not dark enough. I can still see some of the registration. OYu might want to try and darken the picture so the whole airplane is completely black.

Id give it more contrast. Then you get a darker aircraft, and brighter colours in the sky. Give it a try.  Smile

OK, I am at school right now, so all I can use is Adobe PhotoDeluxe  Sad But I had a go at fixing the contrast and I think it looks alot better.

It will probably look better once I run it through Photoshop at home, too.

You'll also want to use some blur techniques to reduce the noise in the Sky after bumping up the contrast like that.

Like you told me, Try the Guassian blur at a radius of 1.0-1.5
