Well it looks like it was shot in very tough conditions, so the result isn't that bad.
The first obvious thing is you will need to bring the picture level if it is to have a chance of being accepted here (not sure about other aviation websites, maybe they like crooked pictures).
You are going to need fast glass and a good panning technique (or VR
) to capture a fast moving object in low light, this shot looks like you had the camera frozen, therefore causing some motion blur.
Try bring out the levels in photoshop, im sure the histrogram is quite "heavy" to the left, and you can sharpen it, but I don't think you will be able to bring it up to A.net quality.
