Need Some Help Getting A Pic Processed...

I took this picture at CVG last week in RAW format. I just cannot get it to look decent enought to even think about uploading. It has potential I think....can someone help me out with it?

You know the gear is up and locked when it takes full throttle to taxi to the terminal.

Well it looks like it was shot in very tough conditions, so the result isn't that bad.

The first obvious thing is you will need to bring the picture level if it is to have a chance of being accepted here (not sure about other aviation websites, maybe they like crooked pictures).

You are going to need fast glass and a good panning technique (or VR/IS) to capture a fast moving object in low light, this shot looks like you had the camera frozen, therefore causing some motion blur.

Try bring out the levels in photoshop, im sure the histrogram is quite "heavy" to the left, and you can sharpen it, but I don't think you will be able to bring it up to A.net quality.

I have done nothing to the photo as of yet including leveling. I really didn't think it would meet A.net standards but I wanted to try to clean it up a bit.
I have the new Canon DPP v1.5 as well as Elements 3.0.

The conditions were about as bad as they could be. Rain, fog, 36 degrees...

Very cool picture. Love the moisture coming off the wings.

Unfortunately, though I'm no expert, I would agree that the conditions would make it very difficult for it to be uploaded.

Nice one for the personal collection though.
