Think This Shot Has A Chance?

Sun Dec 05, 2004 1:18 pm

Hey everyone. I usually am lazy and just upload a shot like this and then ask the question even though it's already in the que. Instead, today I decided to host it myself and ask for advice before I upload it. The question is:

Does this shot have a chance?:

It was kinda taken last minute from the Airside 1 monorail. I just like it because it shows these three competitors tails nicely, IMHO. What do u all think? Badmotiv?

Thanks everyone!

If that gets Badmotive then I have 3 nuts.

A couple things stand right out to me. First, it's not very sharp...perhaps add another bit of sharpening. Also, It seems a tiny bit dark with a bit of a color cast. Maybe you should try selecting black & white points or something...the color just seems a bit gloomy. When and where was that shot taken? Any idea which HP aircraft that is in the back ground?

Glad to see your not wasting screeners time! ....... Just kidding!

Follow Ben's suggestions and I look forward to screening it soon?

Cheers.

The HP aircraft was:

It was taken at MCO on 11/24/04 when I got a gate pass to escort a younger friend of mine down to his gate and then hung out down there for a few hours after he left. I was on the monorail to gates 1-29 (airside 1) when I shot this. The color cast is due to a big cirrus cloud covering the sun. It wasn't thick enough to block the sunlight, just make it hazy. I'll re-edit and resubmit it here soon. Thanks!

OK... how bout now:

I'm afraid with brightening it, it softened and when I sharpen it more to compensate, I get a lot of grain.
