Bad Quality Help

Tue Dec 07, 2004 9:37 am

Opinions on why this is bad quality. It's not over-sharpened.. and about as clear as I can get with my measly 3MP camera. What gives here?

Sorry Gary but the quality isn't there. There is a lot of artifacting around the titles and the reg. Its also visible along the wingtip.

When the image came up on my screen it did look a bit grainy - not bad, but enough not to pass this test with a relatively common image I think. Similar to the difficulties I had with my Canon 4MP camera.

It looks like there's lots of JPEG compression. Do you have a way to save the image at a higher quality setting?

Hi Gary,

First, I like your shoot, it's real that it's a little bit grainy and see the reg number, is jaggie...

I have the same camera and I find that is more difficult to have acceptance now. In the last 2 months, I upload 22 pictures and have 1 accepted...  Confused

All pictures are rejected for bad quality :

And a really rare plane I find : badcameraanglebadquality

I like this camera but finally I think she doesn't give me the A.net standard.
I'm happy to have now 21 pictures in A.net but I think I now to hard with the Canon S1 IS... Maybe the 300D is coming soon.

Best regards

Seems a bit on the grainy side to me as well...

Also looks like the aircraft needs to be a little bit lower in the frame (badcentered?)

Any way that we can see the original?
